The course assumes a working knowledge of the Hazardous Waste Regulations and the Hazardous Waste consignment procedure – anyone who needs
this level of knowledge is should undertake a Hazardous Waste Regulations training course first.

Programme:
The course will start at 9:00 with introductions
The morning session will cover the following topics:
• The Definition of Hazardous Waste.
• Regulations and their link to coding
• Environment Agency Guidance: WM2 : The
Interpretation of the Definition and Classification of Hazardous Waste
• Use of the European Waste Catalogue
• The Classification Process and Use of WM2 and the Approved Supply List
Lunch will be approx 13:00
The afternoon session will consist of Syndicate sessions classifying wastes previously identified by the delegates allowing for plenty of time to practice and clarify the classification and coding process.
There will be a final discussion and feedback session with a finish time of 17:00
