Anyone interested in waste management can join as an Affiliate Member. You do not have to provide references, academic certificates or any information about yourself other than that requested on the application form. If you pay by credit card your application will be processed immediately. Alternatively we can invoice you on receipt of your application.

* Cost for a full year - your credit card will only be debited the amount owing from the day you join until the end of the calender year.

Joining as an Affiliate Member provides immediate benefits but should be seen as a stepping stone to one of these professional grades of membership. The grade you transfer to will depend upon your experience and qualifications

When you transfer to one of these grades of membership you will receive the following benefits:

  • Enhanced Professional Status
  • Use of designatory letters after your name (Full Members can also use the title 'Chartered Waste Manager')
  • Full voting rights in matters of Institution business (Licentiates and Members only)

When you join as an Affiliate Member you will automatically receive information and guidance on how to transfer to a professional grade of membership.
